Dr Giri Prabhala is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).  She was previously the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Sydney Adventist Hospital for several years.  She has over 20 years experience and has assisted with the safe delivery of over 2,000 babies.  She regularly participates in teaching and training of medical registrars and students.

Dr Prabhala is multilingual and has a compassionate, holistic approach in assisting women with their concerns to enable them to achieve the best possible quality outcome.

Since 2012, Dr Prabhala has participated annually as a member of an international volunteer surgical team and is a regular contributor to charitable foundations including Share the Dignity, Open Heart International, Rotary and breast cancer research.

Dr Prabhala is a member of the AMA (Australian Medical Association), AGES (The Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery), UGSA (Urogynaecological Society of Australasia) and ASCCP (The Australasian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology).
